Houston attorney John Kim has been elected president of the American Board of Trial Advocates’ Houston chapter.
Kim is the founder of The Kim Law Firm in Houston, representing business and individuals in complex litigation.
With more than 400 members, the Houston chapter’s mission is based on promoting ethics, civility and professionalism among layers. Membership is by invitation only, and member attorneys must have tried at least 20 cases to verdict as lead counsel, in addition to displaying skill, integrity and civility in their practice.
“I’m honored to be a member of ABOTA, much less its president. I wholeheartedly support the ABOTA mission to preserve and promote the civil jury system,” Kim said in a statement.
