The 12-member board directs the activities of the Foundation, which supports ABOTA, a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges that promotes every American’s right to a civil jury trial.
The letter informing Mr. Kim of his nomination by Foundation Trustees says his selection as a candidate is “testament to your dedication and commitment to the ABOTA Foundation’s mission to preserve and promote our 7th Amendment right to civil jury trial justice for future generations.”
The Trustee position is a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2015. Two other candidates also have been nominated, and the one receiving the most votes will fill an upcoming vacancy.
Mr. Kim has been recognized by numerous professional groups for his mastery of the courtroom and comprehensive trial preparation for general commercial litigation, product liability and personal injury claims.
